Say it With Force

Personal safety and Self Protection presentations

FOR WOMEN AND GIRLS

FOR PARENTS WITH YOUNG CHILDREN

FOR EXPECTANT PARENTS

FOR VICTIMS AND THEIR ADVOCATES

Our mission is to provide parents with information to limit them or their children’s chances of becoming a victim of a violent encounter.

As well as skills to survive a violent encounter should one befall them.

WHY?
Good question!

We define a “Violent Encounter” as any violent act which causes it’s victim physical and/or emotional trauma.

A violent encounter can be as wide ranging from bullying at school or work

to rape, robbery and anything in between.

Are you aware that:

One of every 3 women will be the victim of a violent encounter?

That one in every 6 boys under 18 will be sexually abused?

That the average age of sexual abuse victims is between 3 and 13?

That victims of childhood sexual abuse typically do not report until they are 40 to 50 years old?

That the average rape lasts TWO HOURS!

That bullying causes many children to take measures into their own hands,

up to and including bring a gun to school?

Say It With Force aims to educate and empower both children and adults with knowledge and skills so they never become a victim.

This 45-60 minute presentation  will educate parents and young people how to: Avoid potentially dangerous situations

How to recognize concerning behaviors in people in positions of trust;

babysitters, neighbors and even relatives

What and how to teach young children to ask for help if they are lost,

in an emergency or hiding potential abuse

How to recognize signs of abuse in your child or a child in your environment

Although we tailor this presentation to each audience based upon age and type of setting,  we provide useful, actionable information to every audience.

At the end of this presentation the audience will walk away with, not only knowledge, but an actual assessment of their day to day activities that may lead them to harm or victimhood that they can use immediately.
